Biodiversity Update
The Biodiversity and Ranger teams have been working with a host of partners and volunteers on numerous initiatives across the Cotswold Water Park to help create and restore a variety of habitats to support a vast number of species including Water Voles, Otters, Waterbirds and Dragonflies.
Recent projects have included the CWP Bat Initiative and the CWP Water Vole recovery project. We have also been working on initiatives to support nesting birds in active quarries such as Sand Martins and Little Ringed Plovers.

Keynes Country Park
The ranger team have completed much needed footpath improvements to Lake 31 at Keynes Park making it more accessible for pushchairs, wheelchair users, walkers and anglers.
Cleveland Lakes
The Cotswold Rowing Club has also been officially established by local resident Terry Hardie with assistance from the Society. The club will eventually take advantage of the rowing facilities at Cleveland Lakes as they become available.
Thanks to the help of numerous volunteers we have also cleared vast amounts of reed and bulrush at Cleveland Lakes to re-establish habitats vital for ducks and waders.
Help support us
If you would like to support the Society you can either join or give a donation. Membership starts at £30 for a year and offers free entrance to Keynes Park, advanced information/priority booking and discounts on events and guided walks.
Alternatively, if you have a few spare hours we are looking for volunteers to help with conservation projects, administration and membership promotion.
